Welcome to the
North Potomac Citizens Association

Since 1987, North Potomac Citizens Association, Inc. has been proudly
serving as the eyes, ears, and voice of the North Potomac, MD constituency.
Thanks to the support of neighbors like yourself, we have endeavored to keep everyone informed of the latest issues affecting our community.
Our all volunteer group works to organize regular Town Hall Meetings at local elementary schools - featuring speakers representing diverse local issues such as; Politics, Schools, Government Services, Recreation, Road Projects, and much more.

These meetings are open to all regardless of membership status.

UPDATE: NPCA contacted the 2014 candidates to ask their views on 3 transportation issues affecting North Potomac:

  1. A new bridge across the Potomac River north of the American Legion Bridge plus a roadway through Montgomery County to link the new bridge with Route 370 and the ICC. In the past, this proposed project has been identified as The Truckway or Techway.

  2. A bus rapid transit line (The Corridor Cities Transitway or CCT) along a 15 mile route from the Shady Grove Metro Station to Clarksburg.

  3. How would you propose to alleviate traffic congestion in North Potomac, Rockville & Gaithersburg?
The summary is in this attached document.
